South Kynouria is a big municipality in the region of Arcadia, in Peloponnese, in Greece.
It is a famous area and mostly for its town of Leonidio, which is known all over the world for its mountains and cliffs for climbing activities.
The municipality has an area of 592.439 sq.km. and it covers mainly the central part of the ancient region of Kynouria (the southeast coastal area of the Peloponnese) and the southern part of the former province of Kynouria.
